The program is kinda buggy, since it's new. It works best if the person is facing the camera and their face isn't blocked. I haven't tested it with any sort of 2D drawings, only regular videos. The output quality is lower than input, but hey, it works. You sort of have to play around with what you feed it to find something that works. Not everything will, but the program is a WIP. I'll update this thread if the program is updated.

I tried it with a couple of my gifs, and it came out rather weird. I might make some more soon and play with this for a bit.

I have no knowledge in editing or photoshopping, so I can't transform his gifs into hypno-related.

Nah. The program is very particular about what positions work, the outputs are lower-quality, and the eyes don't really match. It's just a plain spiral that's solid black-and-white. No transparency, no shades of gray, no special spirals...

I'd love to be able to use a better program on every GIF I can find, but if I want something reliably good I'll need someone like you.

I saw this program and wanted to try it out so I applied it to an old, small video. Back in the day I couldn't help but think of it as mind control scene.

The program doesn't work correctly the whole time, but in this case it REALLY works out. The spirals eyes are intermittent in the beginning and pretty solid by the end. The program doesn't output audio so I did a quick remerge with the audio of the original.

Total time was just a few minutes.

Also it'd be really easy to add drones and light effects to these. I used to do this stuff by hand, it's a pain in the tush. Technology makes everything nice.

UPDATE: The program has now been updated, allowing you to choose your own GIF for the spiral effect, as well as set opacity. It also works with still images. This definitely helps the quality of the spiral, but the output quality still isn't super great. I find it works a bit better now at finding the eyes in GIFs.

Used to use this all the time, sad it's no longer available. Anyone know of any similar auto programs or tools? (Cause I'm awful at doing it by hand in GIMP)

First time hearing of this and sad it seems to be gone/lost. Would really love to have something similar to this...
